Our story begins long before we started making candles. Both of us come from families that valued craftsmanship, sustainability, and care for the environment. In the 1990s, Anastasia’s parents started a small ceramics business. Her mother, a chemist, was deeply aware of the harm industrial chemicals could do to people and the planet. So, she dedicated herself to creating ceramics using natural, sustainable methods. Meanwhile, Alex’s parents, inspired by his father’s work as a doctor, opened a bakery that focused on wholesome, natural ingredients – no artificial additives, just honest, good food.

These values were instilled in us from the start: to create with intention, to respect nature, and to put people’s well-being first. When we eventually met and fell in love, it felt only natural to combine these traditions into something new. And so, in the 2020s, we started Green Sheep Family Factory, a boutique candle business built on the principles our parents had taught us.

Our candles are a labor of love. We use pure coconut wax, wicks made from cotton or wood, and fragrances crafted only from natural extracts. What makes them truly unique, though, are the ceramic containers – handmade from blue clay and fired in traditional kilns. We designed them to be reused, so when your candle burns down, you can repurpose the container as a keepsake, a planter, or even for making a new candle.

Everything we create is made by hand in our small family factory. Even our packaging reflects our commitment to sustainability – recyclable cardboard that’s simple, functional, and waste-free.

We’re proud to carry on the values of our parents, creating products that bring warmth and beauty to your home without compromising the health of the planet. When you light one of our candles, you’re lighting a flame that burns with care, passion, and a long tradition of craftsmanship.
